Pork Chop arrived on FBVillage's

doorstep at exactly the same time

that we got a request to adopt a French

Bulldog from a family of musicians

living with their rescue dogs, cats, and

horses on an eighty acre ranch on the

Big Sur in California.  Our little flop

eared boy has gone from Dust Bowl

Puppy to Beach Puppy!

Sweetie Petie has moved to the dog

friendly city of Louisville, Kentucky to

be the spoiled only pet of a young web

designer.  When she's not strolling

through the city or hanging out in her

fenced yard, I'm sure we'll find her

snoozing on the couch in her air

conditioned apartment!

Tanner has moved to Massachusetts

where he will be the spoiled only

companion of a young couple who

unexpectedly lost their four year old

French Bulldog Pierre to inflammatory

disease this past summer.  With one

owner working from home and the other

a graduate student with time to spend

with the new boy, Tanner will not lack

for love and attention in his new home!

Mogwai has joined two gentlemen and

their two lovely Frenchie ladies, three

year old Fern and one year old Gertie

in California.  He's looking forward to

strolls through the dog friendly city of

San Francisco, Frenchie Fridays at

 Dolores park, lazy afternoons spent

snoozing on the couch, and nights

curled up on the bed.  Add a condo

with a yard, and what more could a

tiny Frenchie ask for?

Leo flew home to Illinois in style in

his new owner's own small plane.  He

joins his new mom and dad, a two

year old Boston Terrier named

Gargamel and a ten year old cat

named Mrs. Robinson.  His new

dad works only a few minutes away,

so he can count on company at

lunch.  He can also count on a spot at

the foot of the bed at night!

Flame is staying in Oklahoma,

moving in with her breeder's sister,

and staying close to all the people

she knows and loves!

Rocket, now named Duke after his new

owner's alma mater, has joined a mom

and dad, 13 year old boy and 9 year

old girl, and their 2 year old French

Bulldog Greta in their home in New

Jersey.  Duke especially loves his

new sisters, this boy already has an

eye for the ladies!

Stewie has joined his new owner who

is the director of a therapeutic horse

riding facility.  The resident dogs are

therapy dogs too, and they are happy

to welcome the youngest member of

the family.  With a job to do, and so

much activity going on around him,

our little live wire will never be bored!

Deegee is going to Washington, DC to

live with a retired civil servant and his

eight year old French Bulldog,

Napoleon.  Both gentlemen are thrilled

with the new addition and are

committed to helping their pretty little

deaf housemate enjoy her new home

and her new city.  Rumor has it that

there are already little doggie stairs

up to the bed so that certain Frenchies

can climb onto the bed at night without

Coconut has joined an older couple in

Maryland.  Someone is home during

the day to play with Coconut and her

new sisters, a 12 year old Boxer, and

two 6 year old Boston Terriers in their

acre sized yard.  At night, where does

everyone sleep? With mom and dad

and the two Himalayan cats, of course!

Otis has moved to Texas, where he is

sharing his new home with George, a

Labradoodle, and Gracie, a Boston

Terrier.  With two great new playmates,

a stay at home owner, and a fenced

yard, Otis is sure to have a great

time!

Edmond has won over the hearts and

minds of a beautiful family in

Florida.  He now shares his life with a

couple and their two boys, aged

7 and 5, along with two other fur

siblings - a Boxer and a Shih Tzu

(also rescues). 

Jezzy has gone to North Carolina to

live in a house with a white picket fence,

with her new mom and two teenaged

daughters, Bekkah (16) and Leiah (13),

and an 8 yr old male collie named

Curious.  Mom owns her own business,

and both dogs are welcome to come

along!

Kirby has moved to his new digs in

California, where he has a new mom

and dad and a new big sister, a 2 yr 

old English bulldog named Gracie.

With mom working in the morning

and dad working in the afternoon,

our Kirby won't be spending too

much time alone!

Maximus has found a new home in

Massachusetts with a young couple who

have no other pets, so he won't have

to share the spotlight with anyone!

His new family is as active as he is, and

they already have trips to all the local

parks planned for Masimus.  New

places to go, new people to visit!

Elroy flew halfway across the

country, accompanied by his

adoptive owner, to his new digs in

New York State, where he will have

two adults to love him and 2 year

old toddler Addy to play with!

In an unexpected turn of events,

has bonded very closely with the

granddaughter of his foster family, a

beautiful little girl with multiple

handicaps, and she has bonded

very closely with Oliver. 

We cannot separate them!

We reported earlier that Gabbi was

returned to her breeder who had

assured us that Gabbi would live out

her retirement with the breeder's

mother.  In fact, as we learned later

from her purchaser, the breeder

immediately resold Gabbi only days

later through Craig's List for $150

cash, no veterinary records, no

paperwork.  Our breed deserves

better!  We are thankful that

Gabbi was fortunate enough to

end up in good hands. 

Chanel has found a new home!

Sugar Plum has found a home in

Illinois with a new mom and dad, two

teenage boys to entertain her, and an

eager 2 year old Labrador who recently

lost his Pug buddy to cuddle with her.

Otis has had a tough time adjusting to

life as a companion dog, and we are

thrilled that he has been adopted by

his foster mom where he has spent

the past five months.  There will

always be someone home, and he'll

have his 9 year old Puggie sister to

help soothe his troubled soul...

Lola is not going to need a new

home after all!  Despite a divorce and

a recent move, Lola's owner realized

he just couldn't give her up, so she's

home to stay.  Good news for Lola!

Mia has a new family in Indiana,

mom, dad, and 12 year old Molly, and

a new big brother, 11 year old Jack

Russell Terrier Hoosier!

Luc has been going to work with his vet

tech foster dad since March, and he's

not going to stop now, because he was

adopted by the veterinarian!  Luc and

two cat buddies and one vet make one

happy family down in Georgia!

Spike's new mom and dad, long time

dog owners and enthusiasts, recently

retired and moved to New York state

from Colorado, where they can now

spend all the time they need to

integrate their brand new family

into their brand new lifestyle!

Dot's new owners were preparing for the

awful day that their beloved terminally

ill 16 year old Pug Chloe would leave

them when they decided to make a

home for Dot. Chloe died the next day,

and little Dot has willingly taken on the

task of healing two broken hearts...

Lucy has joined two lovely ladies and

their 9 year old Pug mix Lily in her new

home not far from her foster mom.

Now she'll be able to hog the bed right

along with her new older sister!

Tooty has joined her new mom and

dad in Maryland, and is happy to report

that dad is a chef!  She gets to sleep

in the family bed at night, and she

has grandparents with a history of

rescue Pugs - so there will always

be grandPugs to visit on holiday!

Monty has gone to Illinois to join his

new family, mom and dad and 13 yr old

Boston Terrier, Tascha.  Little Monty is

so delighted with the new arrangements

that he has to be reminded to share

with Tascha.  Share, Monty, share!

Neo has moved to Michigan to join

his mom and dad and his new 6 yr old

French Bulldog DD and a 13 yr old cat

named Bubbins.  He gets to sleep in

bed with everyone else, and we hope

he can help ease the family's pain

over the recent loss of their 10

yr old Frenchie to cancer.

Lake is moving to Tennessee to join

her new owners, long time French

Bulldog fanciers, and their little

Frenchie Ruby!

Savannah, now Luna,  has found a

new home in  Massachusetts to live

with her new mom and dad, a new

BIG brother, 5 year old French

Bulldog Kermit, and a pair of cats

named Zebby and Puma.  Best of all,

she can go to work with mom and

Kermit, and sleep with mom and dad

at night (and Kermit too)!

Prissy has moved to Georgia to join

her new family, mom, dad, a 3 year

old girl named Annabelle, and a 16

year old parrot named Wilson. 

Someone is almost always at home,

so Prissy won't lack for company!

Fran has gone to Massachusetts to live

with mom and dad, 8 year old Jasper

and his two hamsters and 5 year old

Phoebe and her bunny.  It may take

some self control on Fran's part, but

this has the potential to become a

great family!

Midnight has found a new home in

Louisiana!

Mintock has found a new home

in Texas!

Sweetpea's breeder has taken her off

the FBBus, so that she can get a little

bigger and be re-evaluated as to her

health status.  Hurry back, Sweetpea!

Since coming into rescue in October,

2007, Stanley has suffered through

numerous health problems and an

abiding distrustfulness.  Rather than

subject him to the further upsets that

change can bring, his Florida foster 

family has added him to their own

Frenchie family of four (Sammy, Tavi,

Lola, and Frankie) and cat Buddy!

Ellie has a new home in Georgia.

Her new mom, an experienced French

Bulldog owner, is a nurse who works

12 hr shifts three days a week

(thank heavens for dog walkers) and

can spend the other four days spoiling

her new companion!

Cutie has found a new home in

California!

Zella has found a new home!

Joey is going to have plenty of room

to play in his new home state, he's

moving to TEXAS to enjoy his new

fenced yard and his new BIG buddy,

3 year old Lab mix, Jax, and his new

mom, who says Joey is welcome to

sleep on her bed (their bed!)

anytime he wants!

Buttons is packing her little bag and

moving to Texas to join 9 year old

Buddy the bulldog, her new owner,

and her owner's brother.  It's a

quiet home - even the dogs

have their own recliners!

Molly has joined her new family in

Ohio, where she will share her new

stay at home mom, dad, and their

grown up daughter with a little old

dog named Pippi and a couple of

cats.  This summer, she'll join the

family and their quarter horses on

the show circuit!  ROAD TRIP!

Roxy has moved to Missouri to join

her new mom and dad, their three

children, their 6 year old lab/mastiff

mix, and a collection of cats and

guinea pigs. Mom is a dog groomer

so she'll have her very own stylist!

Mystic has a new family in Arkansas,

mom, dad, two children, and a friendly

4 year old Chihuahua to play with!

Lexi is moving to Tennesse to share

her new home with three young ladies,

her new mom and her two cousins,

and two middle aged cats named

Sai Sai and Igloo!

Truffles has a new mom and dad

and a new big brother, 2 year old

Harvey.  Word has it that Harvey

and Truffle are already smitten

with one another!

Lucy is moving to California to join her

new mom, a geologist, and her new

brother, Mr. Spock, a 4 year old

Boston Terrier!

Beamer has traded in country life for a

gig in New York City, where he'll be the

spoiled pet of two brand Frenchie

owners - he plans on visiting ALL the

dog parks and marching in ALL the

NYC Halloween dog parades!

Cricket has moved to New Mexico where

she is helping her new sister Callie, a

Pug-Peke mix, run a native American

art gallery and helping to take care

of her new mom and dad!

Java decided that it was her destiny to

stay home to keep the other Frenchies

in line at her breeder's home in New

York, and her breeder agrees!

After spending several months having

nightmares about their precious little

Lulu blind, lost, and alone in a new

home, no matter how wonderful that

home could be, Lulu's foster family

had a family meeting and decided

that Lulu was staying in the same

home where she had lived since

she was 9 weeks old, THEIRS!

Mickey has a new home in Illinois

where he is enjoying his new family:

dad, a stay at home mom, two children,

a 2 year old Frenchie girl, and a 7

month old terrier mix girl - fun times

for all, including our boy Mickey!

Beebe is making the move from

Michigan to the warmer climate of

Virginia to enjoy life with her new mom,

with grandma down the street,

ready to babysit!

Niki is moving to California where she

will the only pet of a young couple

who were yearning for another

Frenchie to spoil!

Trinket is moving to Washington, DC,

to enjoy big city life as the only pet

of her doting new mom!

Molli has found a new home!

Cookie has found a home in Florida!

Sunny has found a home in Kansas

where she will be beginning a new

career in AKC obedience competition!

Bosco has a new home in Arizona.

His new mom and dad lost their

12 yr old female Frenchie to old age

just last year and their 13 yr old male

Frenchie in 2004.  It'll be good to

have a "puppy" in the house again!

Stella, now Leilani, has joined her new

mom and dad and her new 6 year

old Frenchie brother Kukui in

Encino, California!

Stubbleton, now Bubba "D", flew home

with his new mom to join his new big

sister, 3 year old French Bulldog, Evie

in California. Together, they'll help

mom run her veterinary practice!

Riddle has found a new home!

Buddy, now Boomer, has moved to

Kansas to enjoy the farm life, with

two Frenchie girls, a Boston girl,

and an assortment of other dogs

and cats - and the farm animals,

of course!

After several months spent in foster

care dealing with her health and

socialization issues, little Violet

has decided to stay with her foster

mom and dad and Puggie

brother, Fucious!
