Loving Memory of Bijoux
2000 - 2008
Bijoux was
eight years old and always delicate with respiratory issues for which
she had surgery early on in life. She finally succumbed to the
progressive disease when her larynx collapsed. The only option the
surgeon at Animal Center could offer was a permanent tracheoscopy tube
in her neck and I made the heartbreaking decision to put her down so
that she would not suffer.
Bijoux was my muse. We did everything together. She was beautiful,
mischievou s,
sophisticated and confident. Tiny at only 15 pounds, she embodied the serenity of a tiny Buddha, at other times the melodrama of
a sad little Pagliacchi clown.
Please say a prayer that my beautiful
girl is happy in heaven.
