Rocky is a goofy looking flop eared boy who is part French Bulldog and part Boston Terrier.  Some people refer to this mix as a "Frenchton", but we refer to it as a Frenchie mix - why do folks have to keep messing with breeds that are already PERFECT??  Whatever he is, this is a good hearted big boy who was more than a little upset to trade the farm and 73 acres in rural Pennsylvania for the reduced acreage of his foster digs in Indiana!  Fortunately, he has found a friend in FBVillage foster dog Molly, who is at the same foster home.  They love to play  together.  The other Frenchie girl, Lela, would love to join them, but poor Lela is tooo fat!   As for the resident TOP DOG, Kirby the toy poodle, he says this large young intruder better not get in HIS way, and where did all these silly Frenchies come from anyway??

Rocky lost his wonderful home in Pennsylvania when the resident Boston Terrier decided to use him as a punching bag.  As much as his owners and their two little daughters aged 3 and 1, loved their sweet boy, they decided that Rocky would be better off in a new home.   As imposing as he is, Rocky is a timid soul, who would just like to avoid everything large and scary, like Dave, his new foster dad, or small and scary, like Kirby, the resident TOP DOG.  We're hoping that with a little time and lots of reassurance, our new gentle giant will warm up to both Dave and Kirby. 

We asked Rocky what he needed, and he told us, not anything really, but could folks put in a few dollars for the dogs that are not so fortunate as he, like his friend Moses in New York, who is dealing with epilepsy, or Betty Boop, who - what with her MRI, her plane fare, her hydrotherapy, and her numerous small necessities - racked up a bill as large as a small trust fund?  No, Rocky, we said, this is about you, you must want something!  Okay, he admitted, my own dog bed and squeaky toys without poodle spit on them would be nice...
