We didn't find Moses among the bulrushes in a basket, but he did manage to float on down to the FBVillage.  And he is a charmer!  This chubby little dog's big brown eyes will melt your heart as they have already melted the hearts of the Village volunteers.

Moses first landed in the lap of Dr. Lori Hunt, a terrific veterinarian with a passion for Frenchies.  Moses has been Dr. Hunt's client all of his life, and when his owners could no longer manage his deteriorating health or the accompanying veterinary bills, they turned their beloved pet over to her.  Moses has been having epileptic seizures about once a month, and requires careful monitoring of his environment, his nutritional requirements, and his medication to keep his condition from becoming worse.

Despite his health woes, our cherubic boy is a happy, friendly fellow.  Moses is a lover: he loves other dogs, he loves people, he loves cats, he loves kids, and most of all…he looooooooooooves his dinner!  There's no question that this little guy is packing a few extra pounds.

Moses is now bunking with an FBV volunteer in New York and  five resident Frenchies. He is well and happy and enjoying life with his foster siblings.  Moses is house trained, crate trained and an all around fine Frenchie, full of fun and full of himself. Sometimes his medications throw his body functions off, but both he and his foster mom are learning to cope with all that life chosen to throw at Moses.

Moses will continue to need veterinary care during his foster care as we struggle to reach the optimum level of medication to control his seizures.  Like almost every other French Bulldog that comes into our care, Moses also requires the French Bulldog "basics": a bed, collar and leash, and a few toys to call his own.  Our adoption fees don't begin to cover the costs. We rely on your generosity to help support the needs of rescue dogs like Moses.

Please consider contributing to the K-Fund so that we can continue help Moses and other French Bulldogs who are surrendered to the French Bulldog Village due to serious health issues.  A donation in any amount (every dollar counts!) is much appreciated.  If you can help, just click on the globe to make a donation, and be sure to say it's for Moses!  Thank you!
